![[Love one another ]This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 1 John 3:11](ib/ibpic3.jpg)

Inner
beauty is not a mushy-gushy nougat at the center of your being. It's not a
fluffy-fuzzy glow beneath the surface of your skin. Inner beauty is an
incredible force of power that transcends all the ugliness of the outside
world.
Love answers easily to love. Hope fills to overflowing when the
horizon looks promising. Peace floats smoothly on a calm sea. Graciousness
abounds when life is good. Yet, as we all well know, life is never 'all
good'.
It takes a fierce amount of strength to face hatred with love,
hopelessness with hope, tribulation with peace, and hurt with grace. Inner
beauty is an indestructible diamond that finds enough light to reflect itself
in a world gone dark.
Left to our own devices, love, hope, peace and
grace are easily trampled beneath the monstrous feet of greed, jealousy, envy,
regret, pain and hatred. Outside support is good and well and kind, but it
cannot address what it cannot see. It cannot petition turmoil face to face - in
the place where it lives. Issues that reside at the heart level, the soul
level, need inside support.
When you're weak and weary, when you're
tired of being tired, look within for the source of your strength. Look inside
for respite from a harsh world. Look deep, look long and look hard for the
beautiful dwelling within you. Look for God inside yourself.
No......
inner beauty isn't mushy or gushy or fluffy or fuzzy. It doesn't need
compliments, recognition or reinforcement to be beautiful. It is an Almighty
force - alive and beautiful - that moves you on an upward road every minute of
every day of your life.
